Ever since people were attracted to crowding, disporting themselves recklessly into cities, they have been overheard. Being overheard involves being out of control surely? Who hears your words? Don't you need to be in control of that? If the words which have been tailored for your listener are overheard, mightn't they be ridiculed by the indiscreet?
Will new ways of standing emerge? Ones which can avoid being overheard. A kind of stretched-up neck and on tip-toe stance to begin with. Eventual hovering will follow. Which will of course develop into awkward flight.
